Are you a massive Pokémon fan who’s disgruntled over the fact that watching Pokémon on television is a challenge? Well, Apple just made your life a whole lot easier.
Pocket Monsters, or Pokémon, now has an official app that works on Apple TV. It was originally available on iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Kindle Fire and Android devices. The app contents every episode of the series across all its seasons and the move marks the first time that the app is available on a “permanent television set box.”
Luckily, you’ll be able to watch both offline and online. Naturally, you’ll be connected to your Wi-Fi when watching on your Apple TV, but you can finish that episode elsewhere on a mobile device. The use of My Channel will allow you to pause that episode and continue on the go, which is pretty sweet.
For those of you who are interested, the app also includes some of the movies and you can enable push notifications to be alerted when new content is available to stream. Finally, no more using random streaming sites, and no more having to be selective with episodes on Amazon, Hulu or Netflix. It’s all here, and you Pokéfreaks can download the app for free in the app store.
Am I the only one who hears Arnold Schwarzenegger’s voice when reading that last bit?
