Nintendo Turns Mario Kart 8 Into An Arcade Machine

If you remember going to the arcade and having a blast then you had a pretty sweet childhood. Arcades and arcade machines aren’t as much of a big deal as they used to be, but Nintendo is doing a little something to change that…at least for a short period of time. From November 24th to December 21st Nintendo will be on the road with an interactive game space that will be brought to 16 malls across the United States.

The interactive arcade setup includes 2DS, 3DS, amiibo and Wii U games, but the best part about this is that they’ve  installed a Mario Kart 8 tournament on the machine. Four players can sit side-by-side and compete on high-definition screens. Nintendo is also doing giveaways at the events.

If you manage to catch them on the road here are the games you can expect to play!

The lineup for Wii U games includes:

  • Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
  • Mario Kart 8
  • Hyrule Warriors
  • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
