The Boys Are Back…Finally!
Warner Bros., the studio behind the hit HBO series Entourage, just announced today in a press release submitted through the wires that the film is back on set in Los Angeles and will begin shooting principal photography.
Fanboys and girls are undoubtedly happy as hopes were running thing after many believed that the show’s producers would not be able to gather the cast together or be able to have the money put up to accommodate all the cast members.
The film is being directed by the show’s creator, Doug Ellin, from a screenplay he wrote as well. Producing the show are Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, and Ellin. Wayne Carmona will be executive producing. The biggest bit of news, however, is that all the main and supporting characters we’d come to know and love will be returning including Lloyd, Ari’s wife, Sloan, and director bad-boy, Billy Walsh.
The studio stipulated that the boys are back and teamed up with super-agent-turned-studio-head Ari Gold and, as usual, are up to no good!
As per the studio (via BusinessWire):
Movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Kevin Connolly), Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) and Johnny (Kevin Dillon), are back…and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.
Filming for the Entourage film will primarily be taking place in Los Angeles, but some scenes will be shot on location in Miami.
We’ve also heard and read that Sports Illustrated’s latest cover girl, Nina Agdal, will be featured in the film. She posted pictures from Miami with the show’s leading man, Vinny Chase (Adrian Grenier), a while ago on Instagram.
