Disney to Debut New Pug-Themed Series

In this day and age, there is nothing more majestic when it comes to viral news than the pug. Because of this, Disney has promised us, not one, but two whole pugs in the upcoming television season of Puppy Dog Pals.

I cannot contain my excitement.

The news series  focuses on two pug brothers named Bingo and Rolly. The series was reportedly created by comedian, Harland Williams, who will also voice Bob, the owner of said pugs.

According to Broadway World, “Each episode features two 11-minute stories that showcase Bingo and Rolly’s similarities and differences while demonstrating positive lessons about friendship, problem-solving, collaboration, creativity and adventure.”

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Man could never recreate the transcendent beauty and majesty that is the pug, especially in the blossom of its puppyhood, and Disney should not even attempt to waste their time animating a show when people would be happy watching real-life pugs on a dash cam. Well, there is good news, because Disney did just that in another viral video to promote the show.

Initially involving two pugs, one black and one fawn, much like Bingo and Rolly, the video later shows two more pugs joining the game. Truly, the pug-gods shall be pleased.
