Beth Lucas Kicks It Up With Her Latest Single “Blindfold”

The revival of pop-punk: that’s what we can call 2016. This year has seen heavyweights including Sum 41, New Found Glory, and Good Charlotte have MainStage stints on the Vans Warped Tour. As well, the legendary Blink 182 topped the charts with their seventh album, California, the group’s first effort sans Tom Delonge. Its moments like these that show the resilience of pop-punk rock and its stand against the more synthetic music thats polluting the radio.

But we can’t only pay attention to the old dogs with their new tricks, as there are so many young novel acts taking the stage that should be thrown a bone. One such act is #ViralPirateRadio alum Beth Lucas of Australia. For fans of kick-ass female fronted pop-rock, Lucas is a fresh face with a great attitude and gold heart. This summer she’s made it to the States for some shows, and is even playing a benefit concert in Brisbane for metalcore band The Ghost Inside, who are recovering from a fatal bus accident last fall.
